How to select your Plastic Surgeon
1. TRUST DOCTORS
working permanently in Cyprus.
2. DO NOT TRUST doctors coming occasionally from
other countries to your area unless you can investigate everything
about them. Think carefully: You can investigate
almost nothing about them? You might need them the time they are gone?
Is it suspicious they are NOT successful at their place of residency?
If they are successful why have they got plenty of times to travel?
Don’t they seek for gullible patients?
3. Explain your problem to the doctor and ask about
the possible solutions. Listen carefully to the answers.
4. Make your choice among the various solutions and
discus it with him about the details.
5. After your consultation, think about this:
 Did the surgeon
welcome all your questions answered to your satisfaction?
Did he candidly
discuss the potential risks and complications associated with this
procedure?
Did you feel
comfortable talking with him?
6. Before you decide you found the best surgeon for
your operation make sure:
The surgeon
is experienced in Plastic Surgery.
You DID NOT
forget to talk with some patients of him?
The surgeon
operates in a modern, well-equipped hospital licensed by the Ministry
of Health
You have found
out that your privacy will be respected and protected?
You will be
hospitalized in a single bedroom as it is mandatory for a plastic
surgery patient?
7. Before you leave ask these questions:
Could you show
me `before and after` photos of your patients?
In which surgery
centre are you affiliated?
8. Be aware: The level of communication with your
physician and the confidence he inspires are vital to the success
of your surgery |
